Formerly the scenic art manager at toy company Funko in Everett, WA, Hilary lost her job due to the pandemic in 2020. The job loss turned out to be a silver lining, though, as she was able to write the epic fantasy novel she'd been toiling over since middle school: Wishmaker.
Since then, Hilary has been writing a new dystopian fantasy novel, hugging her cats and chickens, doing yoga, playing copious amounts of board games, and pursuing a new career in voiceover work.
