When Ytha, a devout hunter in an all-female colony, discovers that the sacred fertility rite is built on enslaving men, her faith in the sisterhood falters. Wounded and far from home, she is forced to spend time with one of the men she was taught to fear, and she begins to question everything she’s ever believed—including where she truly belongs. As the colony elders move to silence her, Ytha must risk her life to expose the truth, even if it means destroying the sisterhood she once loved.
