Hilary is a full-time copy editor working remotely in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Formerly the scenic art manager at toy company Funko in Everett, WA, Hilary lost her job due to the pandemic in 2020. The job loss turned out to be a silver lining, though, as she was able to write the epic-fantasy novel she'd been toiling over since middle school: Wishmaker. Since then, Hilary has been revising in preparation for querying agents, performing in local theater, doing yoga, playing copious amounts of board games, and recording the audiobook version of Wishmaker.
