This is a little late, but my latest novel, We the Monstrous, was selected as a finalist in the Fantasy category for the Colorado Gold Rush Literary Award! The Colorado Gold Writers' Conference was held last weekend, where the winners were announced. Although I didn't win, I did end up pitching a senior editor at my dream publisher, Tor, and she requested the full manuscript! I also pitched a literary agent, who requested the full and told me he'd like to see whatever other books I end up writing! :) So the conference was a MAJOR win for me!
